Dad wonders whether anyone can recommend a good car manual, which is similar to the old Haynes one - not specific to any make of car.

He wants something that tells you about everything to do with the car - suspension, lights, etc, but wants something up to date, so includes more detail on things like turbos.

Does anyone even remember the Haynes manual - not sure how old it is?
