Default alloy spacers

ive recently bought a blobeye wrx but think the alloys sit a little bit recessed. Before i change the suspension, am i going to have to dig deep and buy some larger wheels (17s on at the moment) or will spacers do the trick without effecting handling?
Any help would be brill, thanks

Hi there depends which alloys you want fit,but 18" with 225/40 R18 will fit without problems, just don't go for extreme offset.

You can fit spacers but you'll also need to change the studs for longer ones. You can just about get away with 5mm spacers but it's not ideal.

I've been thinking this too, i've got a blobeye sti with 18" oz prodrive alloys, i wish the rears were a little wider, going to try 10mm spacers to see if it helps, otherwise its more money on new wheels.

I've been wanting to do it for a while, i put coilovers on and lowered it which helped the look a lot, but its still not quite there and kind of bugs me a little! People keep saying to go for 5mm spacers but i dont think that will be enough. I,ll try and figure out how to put pics on to show you the before and after.
