hi there i bought a fault code reader off ebay, thats ment to work with cars from 1999+ i think, i used it on pals cars and works fine, engine light came on in my car went to use it and i cant find a connection that looks the same, its on a 2002 wrx bug.




and this is the connection



any help much appreciated

 

It's directly below the steering wheel.

 

haha im a **** i looked right past that, and searched like behind that trim and above the pedals.
