Our day at Santa Pod was cut rather short yesterday after our Legacy launched off the line and suddenly stopped.

It will go into 2nd and reverse with a bit of persuasion, but that's it, with the engine running or not. With the engine running and the clutch down the box is silent, but once the clutch is up it makes a right bloody racket!

I'm not too up on gearboxes, but to me it sounds buggered. We may have another box lined up if that is the case.

Has anyone got any ideas what the exact problem might be?
