Default How to put Dccd into Euro version?

Hellow all.

Lately i have a lot of ideas for my impreza and aftre busting my gear box i was wondering if it would be possible to put dccd into my 99 euro classic.

What do i need?
Obviously right box and matching dif. but what else?

Maybe i need different ECU too?If so would be dccd still preset to one mode untill i get ECU(i dont wanna swap ECUs asap since i have current mapped nicely).

Thansk for all the help.

...oh i wanna stay at 5 gears since switching to 6 speed is a bit expencive.....

You can fit a DCCD in your car but you will need the DCCD and the casing that it fits into. The rear half is different to your box. Without the ECU fitted it will be in the open position giving more drive to the rear. You can keep your front and rear diff as long as you build the front diff into the new box and still keep the same drop gears.

I have some short ratio gears 1st-4th from a MY99 type r if you interested.

I am getting new gear box from G.E.A.R.S. together with rear dif. so what you saying is:

If i get DccD version i can mount it in without any connectors or new ECU it will be open to 35/65 which is best mode for tarmac.

So that will work normaly.Next step would be getting ECU from a impreza that had dccd and i am good to go for next mapping?

Sound about right.

The DCCD ECU is a separate box to the engine ECU. I know you can get some aftermarket ECU's that also link in to the system.

If you are changing your rear diff make sure its either the same ratio as your last one or the drop gears are changed to suit the front diff or the whole lot is all matched.

Can i connect my standard ECU to dccds ECU or i need main ECU from dccd car?

Dif and box(front and center dif included) will come from same care so this shouldnt be a problem.

How hard is to wire work to pout it all in working mode(i mean conecting ECUs together, new spido and offcource manual button)?

Atm i am deciding bewine normal 5 speed and dccd.First is plug and play option and i am still figuring out if i can pull later version off.

Google will find Neetronics and DCCDPro, both add-on controllers. I have the Neetronics on mine.

The two ecu's are totally separate, one for the engine and one for the DCCD. With the DCCDPro controller you can have an auto mode.
