tyre size 05 sti

Hi im wondering if a 245/40/18 tyre would fit on my 05sti
without catching the arches or when putting full lock on.

Largest you can fit as standard is 235/40/18. Anything bigger I believe needs rolled in arches etc.

Ive seen sum 18"rims and can get free set of tyres in this size
They came of the 08sti so thought they may squeeze in bout modding!!
