when to check tyre pressure???

when is the best time to check and adjust ur tyre pressures???
from cold or when the car has been run and the tyres warmed up???
or doesn't it make any difference in a road car???

For the road the tyres should be cold. For track, go and warm them up for a few laps then come in and set them. Cheers.
