Have noticed a 'buzz' in 4th gear from the gearstick/box - noticeable only when pulling (goes when I take my foot off the accelerator pedal), and can be gotten rid of by pushing the stick over to the left slightly whilst driving. Anyone got any ideas??

 

Hi mate, had the same problem with mine. Dealer found it was the rubber that the gear select rod has on to bolt onto the gearbox.

You are a star MeltypeR. Have got to get the clutch changed out soon, so I'll ask them to change this as well (111K, so the rubber bits probably are wearing a little thin!!). Many Thanks.
