anyone got the Magnex dp and is it any good? performance gains / noise ?

 

If its the twin dump one then........
Nicely made ,sturdy, good gains (very cost effective)
though i did get it ceramic coated from new inside and out to reduce under bonnet temps.

Got the DP - very happy with it. Mines the twin dump.

There may be a slight fit issue, a gearbox bracket needs slightly adjusting but most mechanics should be able to sort. Heat sheild needs trimming but I think its the same for all DP.

As for power - no difference to the SS setup IMHO, my car and a mates are pretty identical bar zorsts (mine magnex, his SS) and theres no difference in performance between the two.

And its a bargain at 170 odd quid

 

I fitted one on saturday for a m8.well finished but fit was not too great,very close to a cross member.also the twin dump pipe is quite near the steering joint which may dry it out quicker.fitted with a magnex centre,the b/b seems to be an inch or so too far forward,streching the rubbers.on the road the car is pulling very well.I have a PE T75 twin d/p,magnex c/s and think his set-up has given him higher gains than mine did.I have driven his car quite a bit,both are MY00's.

thanks for the feedback, trying to choose between the Magnex and Scooby Mania downpipe, think i may opt for the Scooby Mania one?
