I have a box from a 1999 Uk turbo, it was fully reconditioned by Ali Burrows, a local engine and gearbox specialist (you can google him). It was done less than 100 miles ago with all new oil etc... and is now a very tidy box!! pm me if your interested mate

Simple answer is 6 speed Affordable answer is a good 74 box and turn your boost down If you're driving for fun, 325ftlbs is going to kill box after box after box !

You don't want a 95 STi box Martin, you'll kill it in no time at all tbh ! Gears are shorter than yours, revs 4k+ at 80mph I killed mine pretty easily at a similar power level. Get a cheap interim UK box, which I have seen c.£200 or HDC Subaru do £300+VAT exchange, and then drive sensible until you have 6speed money or sell up
