Default transmission noisy

My turbo 2000 transmission is quite noisy, though it all works fine. The noise is general whine, and at low speed I can hear sublte noise of one of the shafts turning somewhere. It sounds like4 some bearing wear. It has been like this since I got the car 4 months ago. Should I worry? Or is it quite normal wear and tear after 100k?
cheers
