Default weeping gearbox

I have a slight weeping coming from the Drive shaft oil seal on the off side, on MY 01 UK300.
Does anyone know how big a job this is to replace? Is it something you can easily do yourself or is it a booking it into a garage job?

£70 is not a bad price. I was expecting alot more. Very strange why yours has now gone away though.
Thanks for the info. I will keep an eye on mine to see that its still weeping
