Hello i have a MY99 subaru impreza uk 2000 turbo, i recently had a problem with it where when i tryed driving it the car would rev and the speedo would go up but the car would barley move and it did this in every gear as soon as the car got warm it would be perfect again, so i replaced the gearbox and clutch, and what do you know it was fine, but then a day later it was back with exactly the same problem so i then ventured out and bought a rear diff ( the gear box and diff were both of the same spec car 2000 turbo uk and same year) had that fitted and what do you know it was perfect, so a week and 2 days later the problem is back so we had a look at a little bit of the fresh oil that was put in the diff a week before and there was a small amount of metal flakes in the oil, so i am having my old gear box put back in as i am giving the other one back. what could the problem be as me and my mechanic are a bit stuck ????
