Default my 420-ish bhp v1 sti

few pics, im lookin for ideas to tidy the engine bay

esp the intake hose,

also a radiator shroud, but would they fit a larger alloy rad

also likes of a nice cover for the fan belt, ac belt

anything else that will genarally tidy things up neatly?

also fitting a set of gold revolution wheels when my tyres arrive in next few days, wheels are here

Looks very tidy, I'd stick with the current wheels though - I like revolutions, but the current ones really suit

I'd paint the rear spoiler the same colour as the car. Nice V1 though

you think?

i do love the revolutions, but was doubtful on a silver car, was torn, really!

but i think im going to go with the revo's

maybe decide when on.

rotas will be for sale mate, only 6 mnths old, with maybe 3-4k miles, tyres good too, so it wont be a give-away mate, altho i would be reasonable,

and btw nice bay prodriver, yeah need to get some polished bits im thinking

steve the spoiler is a carbon one so wouldnt paint it,

tbh i think its the dark spoiler that makes the rotas look better, and also what would make the revolutions look a bit odd

think io could get away withem revos if i had a good quality silver spoilerr

but silver can be a **** to match aswell

idprefer to buy new bits and peices where i can, ie header tanks, pulley covers, just not sure where to get, and id like a chrome radiator shroud, but dont know if the ones at scoobyworld would fit as mu alloy rad is slighty thicker than standard?
the cars got a new 2.5, v3 heads, forged pistons, cometic head gaskets, acl bearings, uprated oil pump, sc46 turbo, simtek ,rcm headers, 6 speed, 500lbft clutch. mapped by bob rawle

fun but still need some work doing - bad knocking from front got cdf arb links to go on , think the whole susp took a kicking over that bad weather tbh

Old is Gold, stunning! How does she pull at 420ish? A spec would be nice.

Tasty spec

Using STi 3 heads on V1, is there any wiring work needed or isit a simple bolt on?

Both ver 1 and 3 head casting's are identical so just use existing loom/manifold and away you go.

v1/v2 castings are the same , v3/v4 head castings are different to the v1 and v2 as they have different inlet manifolds

version 1-4 have the same layout for manifold bolts so manifolds are interchangable.
And you will notice Jef still has ver1 manifold on his now too.
