Took advantage of Ian's awesome current group buy offer of grooved discs and kevlar pads.
Got them all fitted today (out in the snow!)
I knew my rears could have problems as the brakes were well seized and were binding, thankfully though all 12 pistons were free and moving, the inner pads on the rears were seized solid in the caliper though! When i got my nearside inner pad out, the friction material had actually broken away from the pad itself! Im guessing it was possibly getting hot where it was binding and cracked from the heat?
So anyway, all fitted and everything thoroughly clean up with emery - brakes feel 10 times better already, probably because this is the first time iv had the rear brakes working im guessing! Looking forward to them bedding in fully

When i get some more time im gonna paint the calipers up as theyre looking a bit tatty

I've just had the clinic refit my Brembo Grand Tursimo brakes that were refurbed buy Ian. He made up 328mm discs and fitted them to my original Bells and supplied Kevlar pads. Can't wait to try em
I also have got these on mine, and find them very good, well worth the money.
Had them on for about 8 months I think now, and still going strong.
Very nice guy and very informative.

Yes everything was cleaned up with emery and wire brushed, and copper slipped in all the required places.

It really depends on your driving style , if its mild fast road use , mostly day to day driving then our kevlar pads are a good chioce , harder driving or track days the 3 pads I would then recommend are the Performance Friction Z rated pads at £119 a set , EBC bluestuff NDX at £146.81 or Ferodo DS2500's at £194 a set

Out of all the pads , my choice would be the Bluestuff as these are a very good alround pad , which I actually choose for my own car.

Hi
No we dont offer a larger kit for your car , and can offer various discs and pad options here
http://66.7.200.85/~godspeed/categor...d_category=152
The only thing I can't offer at the moment is rear discs as these use a different offset disc from the earlier 4 door STi
Cheers Ian
I had the 2 piece front discs and standard rear discs with PF pads. Ian managed to get 2nd hand rears from a rally build at Prodrive and then grooved for me because the rears were like hens teeth to get. The pics are on the hatch forum if you want a look. http://subaruhatch.forumotion.com/t11-brake-upgrades
Can't fault Ian on his service or product.
Paul
