I have just bought a set of Inovite Tarmac's 17x7j ET 45 and they will be going on a 2002 Bug sti. I want to use some spacers to get a slightly wider look and make them look nearly flush with the bodywork. So would like advice on what spacer size is best and where to get them from?

Wrong wheels, I run 8" riim at ET 44mm with 235 tyres. Needed some work on the rear arches...
You'd need some huge hub-centric spacers for a filled arch look ( > 15mm ? )

could i just jump on here, i run standard wheels really low. so 225 45 17 and 7.5j width.
but because the ride height is low. they look like they are stuck well in the arches.. also because of the 2 degree camber on the front .. on track it rubs slightly on tight / long turns.. minor really but i was thinking if i was to get 5mm spacers.. it might make it look a little better and hopefully cure this rub.
any thoughts? cheers
hopefully the pics will show what i mean better
