hahaha, it's a bit dark for me to take pictures but I've got a Black bug, last washed before the snow and been doing about 300 - 400 miles a week - looks pretty much like this one!

I would wash it, but it would be dirty again by the time I got to the bottom of the road!

The aftermath of a 170 mph rag with a motorbike

The complete front of the car was the same including mirrors, windscreen, front of roof & a large chunk of the bonnet.

I dont see why you lot let them get so dirty, surely it takes hrs then to clean them, when a quick 10 minute squirt with the jet wash would do when they start to get rough looking ?

Thats how i do it anyway, same with the m/bike,ride it all yr,clean it every other nite, not as in polish it,but squirty water, cloth 10 minutes clean again,.

lads at work come in after weekend and say, spent 2 hrs cleanin my bike so i think if they did a quick squirt clean, jobs a good un

good efforts tho in the dirt dept

because I'm doing 100 miles a day in this weather, if I did that every night by the end of the road it'd be looking rough again. May as well save the water and effort.

It takes me long enough to keep the windows and lights clear!

Also, it's usually 8pm, dark and freezing when I get home - much better things to do!

I just try and leave mine dirty as under the dirt is a nice layer of wax anyway. When the roads are dry I run a jet wash underneath.

People at out local Morrisons jet wash must think I am bonkers as I pull away with the car still dirty.
