hi everyone im goin to look at a subaru wrx its on a p.reg 1997, would this be a v3 or a v4 how can i tell ? is there any differences to tell which it is. its got a facelift bonnet but not a facelift front bumper or dash been looking on ebay and some v4 look the same as the one im looking to get.any help would be appriciated thanks.paul

 

Its not a version anything, its either an my97 or an my98, the 97 being pre face lift interior and the 98 being post face lift interior.
Only classic STI's had versions, these ran from version 2 through to 6.
