Apologies if this has been done before ...

I’d be grateful if someone could set me straight regarding the position with fitting / wearing harnesses on public roads in the eyes of the (Scottish) law.

Not sure really. But iirc, this was a while back. As long as the harness is fitted and used correctly it was fine. I remembered something about the original seat belts had to be left installed and in working order.

Sorry... anybody else have any info?

Scots law doesn't apply..Euro does. They have to be E marked (just like the Impreza seats) and of course corrctly fitted. Normal seatbelts do not need to be retained
