This guy has contacted me for a straight swap for my car.

What a confused car, not worth more than £6k tops IMHO. Much better cars out there that have been mapped by proper Subaru specialists.

It looks like a mishmash of 2005 JDM STi, UK STi and other bits. Think I would want to get the model code/VIN from the plate in the engine bay to be absolutely sure what it is.

It could be a good buy...it could be a dog...the pictures are not brilliant.

Cheers guys.
The guy has hardly any service history, no idea of turbo upgrade etc.
Not going near it.
Would rather have std STI or one that has been mapped by the usual big UK mappers.
JDM would not put me off if it has the right history.

Really wanting to get my Alfa gt v6 sold and get another scooby.
Just wondering the best place to sell it so I can get back into the game!!!!!

Thanks

When was it improted? may explain why its short of SH. I doubt its an 02 I think that's just a private plate JUT = Justin maybe. Bugeyes go for about 6K not blobeye imports. Who said its had a turbo upgrade? Do an HPI check if your interested but if you have any doubts just walk away, plenty of them about at the moment.

I sold my Alfa 3.0 GTV not so long ago your best bet is to throw it in the trader they are cheap and nippy motors someone will snap it up at a realistic price.
