Hello all im new to the site and recently acquired an s reg uk turbo 2000. All good apart from a niggling problem with either the gearbox, clutch or something. As im new to scoobies and not a mechanic ive not got a clue what it is. After a few weeks of owning it the clutch pedal wasnt comming all the way back up and since then its started grinding when putting into 5th gear and jumping out of 5th when you throttle off. Its fine when your on the power but as soon as you come off the throttle it jumps out. Also its grinding when you put the car into reverse aswell. Any help would be much appreciated. thanks.

 

clutch could be return spring broken or weak,located underneath intercooler,the gearbox seems like 5th gear is worn and thats the cause of slipping out on overun.
