ive got a 03 blobeye n its got a faint tapping its doin my head in should i jus get a new wrx engine fitted or sti upgrade? what do i have 2 do 2 do this? i love me car i just want it right

 

The solution should depend on what's making the noise. My advice would be to have it investigated first, and if the conclusion is that it needs to be stripped, that's the time to make the right choice. I wouldn't rely on a second hand engine, and any rebuild should include forged pistons.
