Replaced the battery in my 2nd key fob but still not working, guess the key has unprogrammed itself as I have never used it, but is it possibile to reprogram it myself?

I found a user guide on the net but my key doesn't have an 8 digit number like it mentions

Has your car got a key pad in either the glovebox or coin tray ?

Nearly - forgot to ask - do you know your overide code ( 4 digits)?

 

Ah, dont think I do, where would I find that?

 

Ahh - I/you can change it to one you'll remember - Is your first fob still working ?

 

Any progress? I'm having exactly the same problem, i.e first key still working but spare key not working, even with new batery. Second key is mint condition so I dont think its physically damaged, just lost its code.
