Default Rain and brake discs

I feel loss of brake bias at rainy weathers with my 350 mm K-Sport brake discs and DS2500 brake pads. A little brake loss may seem to be normal at a rainy conditions as the disc surface is wet thus friction is low but my loss is huge and I don't think its normal and is something i have experienced before on any car. After pressing brake pedal 2-3 times it gets back to normal but this is annoying and it becomes variable that I need to consider about while driving my car at rainy conditions. Could it be related with the brake pads?

Sounds like it might be, the DS2500 compound is quite hard.
