Righto, that's handy, cheers.

 

Been looking at the drawings and I'm starting to think rears might be a bit tricky for a dufus like me. Presumably once you get the disk loose all the handbrake bits don't just come off? I mean is it quite straightforward to just replace a rotor without messing up the handbrake?

 

All the bits are securely mounted and will stay where intended, nothing should fall out but dust and rust.

To summarise;
Jack the back end of the car securely (chock the front wheels etc)
Remove the road wheel
Undo the 2 bolts retaining the caliper, waggle it side to side to open up the pads and slide it off the disc
Un adjust the parking brake as per the PDF
Give the disc a tap and it should drop off.

Reassemby is the reverse of removal as they say. Just remember to stand on the brake pedal a couple of times to get the pads in contact with the disc before driving off or you may get a nasty surprise the first time you want to stop

The only time there might be a problem is if the handbrake had worn a groove into the inside of the disc/drum area. I helped a garage change mine a few months ago and had both sides fitted with new discs and pads from godspeed in under an hour...
Fairly straight forward job.
