I can't see the point in using adapters , they would need to be a certain thickness to be able to screw a wheel stud into them safely , which would then bring the wheel out in the arch , which could cause clearance issue's , I'm sure you could just swap the drive flanges over if you were doing it to an 2001 onwards STi ??
Wouldn't it be easier to just find 5 x 100 wheels you like.

I did it the hard..or easy way depending how you look at it. I swapped in a complete 06 STI rearend ( hub to hub) then put on 06 sti front knuckles and changed the lower part of my coilovers. I now have 5x114.3 on my bugeye and a bigger rear with the oem clutch type rear diff.
