From: OLD MY53 STi @ 341bhp/349lbft -> NOW Evo 8 385bhp/380lbft

is my wheel heavy @ 20.4kg per each inc Tyre??

Bought a set of 18" wheels with tyres, the tyres are 225/45/18 and the total weight is 20.4 on a bathroom scale... that seems heavy??

Sounds similar to my rota's, I'm sure my WRX 17s weren't much lighter

maybe its the 45 profile? most people go for 225/40/18 might make a difference.

My standard 17" STi are 18.5kg with tyres, so for 18s sounds about right.

Sounds about right (rim 12kg and tyre 8kg). FWIW proper lightweight 18" rim (eg PFF7 or TD 1.2) are about 4kg lighter and the improvement in suspension control is noticeable.

My OEM 16" with tyres are 16 KG, my OZ Ultraleggeras with 215/35 are 17 KG and my OZ Ultraleggeras with 225/40 should be around 18.5.

Measured on bathroom scales also ha.

What Impreza have you got?
