Ordered STi 7 21.01.02, paid £500 deposit,non pro drive WR blue, have a vehicle ID, given a delivery date of May, June, July, August, is there anyway of checking the progress of the car and delivery date? Other than via the dealer?

 

All the indications are that the next boat load of non Prodrive cars will be here June (-ish )

 

Presumably, there is then an uncertain vehicle preparation period during which badges are applied, body under sealed, Cat 1 alarm, etc so actual delivery time to dealer maybe sometime after this?

The cars go from the docks to the compound at Quedgeley to have the underseal/alarm/Trackstar etc done, and are then released to dealers on a strict order basis. This does take some time, although I believe the next batch will not be so manic as the first one (there was also the issue of the Subaru employees being trained to fit the Trackstar by RAC Trackstar first time around).

 

When will the next lot of Prodrives be avaliable ? What are the insurance differences between the two ?

I ordered my non prodrive sti on 6-12-01 and have been
told by the dealer that the next boat load will be
here mid April.

 

Ordered my non prodrive 14/12/01 was told last week it is in the country came in over easter and will be ready first week in May.
