Just wondering who owns the scooby with the number plate S8 OOBY. I pass it nearly every day on the way to work and it growls like a bastid.

Makes a great noise, but a little to loud for my taste.
When he visits me, I can put the kettle on when I hear him, and have the tea ready by the time he pulls up

It used to be on a red '99 (I think), but is now on a P1.

 

The owner of that plate is a very nice chap too Posts on here so no doubt he'll own up at some point

I now have the red my99 that it used to be on, showed up in the HPI check at the dealers when I got it. Mine's now got it's original plate back on, so I'll just have to change my name to Mr S***DVA
Can't believe that my car is in the video (hops to amazon.com - ££kerching££)
Apparently he bought a P1 after selling the '99.

 

Does the dude work for Prodrive or was his car just there that day?

Neveryoumind, wonder who got my old car, hope its ok 4 you. If you mail me I see what I can dig out on it, probulary have some receipts and some piccys off track, thanks to Mr Levy ( the 'old' man who can't stand the noise )

Hi. Top looking car mate. Mine might be quick but it doesn't look as sweet as yours ) Can i ask how exactly you got your exhaust that loud. Have you just removed all of the silencers?

s/sport dp, decat centre & back box, not trying for loud, just happened (wasn't as noisy on the my99 as the P1, 105db at 4.5k)

P1, Dukes Video were at donno as year or so ago filming for the video, mine just happend to be one of the many cars filmed

Coincedence or what. I was cleaning me room last night and came across the Duke video: The Subaru Impreza story. Whilst they were interviewing boss man David Lapworth (Prodrive/SWRT) they asked him why the Impreza is such a good car. He then pointed to a red classic shape turbo with this very reg plate on it.

So there is a bit of history on it. What colour/model scoob is it on now?
