Question

Id be surprised if any additive would keep the emissions low, for very long. Sods law being what it is meaning that just as the guy sticks the tester up your pipe there will be a huge HC,CO burst that will send it off the scale.

Far better to shove a shiny 10p piece into the testers hand at this point. (alledgedly)

Pretty soon all emission testers(the machines not the operators)will be hooked up to a central computer,so no more blagging your way through. There will still be ways round it though such as putting someone elses car on the machine. If you're really struggling to get the CO and HC levels down then try an Ecotek.Basically it allows you to lean off the mixture to a point where the emissions are virtually nil-very handy for those without a cat.
