I just bought a 1998 subaru sport. I didnt want to rag the car on the test drive and the car seemed fine but today i gave her a proper drive and i noticed that when the engine revs are high and I change up a gear and put my foot flat to the floor the engine revs dont instantly pick up. It feels like i havent fully taken my foot off the clutch. I did this a few times and it was the same every time. I tested this out by driving the car forwards and backwards and i could smell burning clutch. the car is over 100k.
