Default dccd in 95 classic

hi all, i have a 95 euro spec(uk) wagon and my box is very nearly dead. i want a low ratio box and i can get hold of a type r dccd box and rear diff. does anyone know if this is a do-able swap or is it a real ballache. also do i need to change the hubs and rear brake set-up. cheers

Good question, thinking of doing the same to my 93 wrx. Been told it is do-able, but to make it easier use a DCCD box out of an RA as the Type R has an R180 rear diff which would require you to change the shafts and hubs. You'll need the controller wheel, ecu and wiring loom. Hopefully someone with a bit more knowledge will be along soon to clarify.
