I have a pair of STi5 heads for sale, that have only covered 38000Km.
They are in excellent condition, and come complete with cams, caps, buckets, shims, valves etc.
There are no cracks in the combustion chambers.
They've just been overhauled - reshimmed and lightly re-faced, so they're ready to bolt on.
They're up for sale, as i have decided to fit a pair of AVCS heads on my 2.1 project build.
£450
Please PM me if you're interested in them

Sorry to be a pain but I'm looking at putting a 2.5 STi block into my bugeye and have had a bit of a "mental block" on what heads to use.
I'm not intending on doing any porting at the moment but before splashing out would your heads work on the 2.5 ?

After 8 years with my bugeye I'm OK with most things but which heads fit which block / manifold without major pratting about still is a bit of a mystery LOL
Cheers
Shaun
PS I'm an old git..........do you take cheques ??

The Sti5 heads have larger inlet ports than the original newage WRX items, different cam profiles, sodium filled exhaust valves, under bucket shims, different valve springs etc (obviously giving better airflow than your current heads)
They will physically bolt straight to the 2.5 STi block and work well, although i would recommend having the chambers modified to suit the increased bore of your replacement 2.5Ltr .
The head chamber volume is 49cc - IIRC your current heads are 51cc
All your current anciliaries, inlet manifold, exhaust manifold, camshaft pulleys, etc will fit without issue.
If you're interested, drop me a PM

It's not necessary to port them if you're planning on using the standard cams etc - They just need the combustion chambers and the squish area modifying for use with a 2.5
Sorry Fiestaboy......I used the wrong word, I should have said "modified" rather than "ported"
