Can you see these ',.' on your keyboard?
Sounds like the same problem i had with my 1999 uk turbo,as you have no fault codes flash up ,my guess it may be the fuel pump. The next time the car cuts out ,when you switch the ignition on ,see if you can hear the pump priming(whirring ).If not then your pump is on its way out ,mine did this for about 3 weeks intermittently, till it eventually seized.

saying that i did hear a whirring clicking sort of noise when i tried to start the other day but car didnt start is the fuel pump on the drivers side of the engine?
thanks
thanks
ive just tried car fuel pump sounds ok would it be worth getting a garage to do a diagnostics check? or am i wasting money as there are no fault codes at present.
thanks
thanks
It should save you money in the end as you should get to know what the problem is and be able fix it directly, which is usually cheaper than the internet diagnosis and process of illimination methord that you will recieve here
sorry just checked old sensor i replaced cam sensor not crank sensor spoken to neil at slowboy he told me the crank/cam sensor can make the car cut out/die as mine has been doing and advised me to change both as ive changed cam ive just ordered a new crank sensor he also said that because i have a intermittent fault it may not show on engine check diagnostic im hoping it will be crank sensor as i use car for work.
