Default Fuel Rail Joint leaks

Hi.Having recently fitted aftermarket fuel rails to a MY98 i'm finding the washer situated between the fuel rail itself and the AN6 fitting that threads into each end leaking fuel. The washer is solid copper.Anyone had an issue like this? Thanks

I use -6AN male/male fittings with an O Ring to seal into the fuel rails, and never had any issues.

Does the female thread fitting in the end of your rails have a chamfered lead, to accept and enable an O Ring to used to seal?
