uk turbo classic box

What sort of bhp/torque will a 99 model uk classic gearbox handle before a 6 speed/ppg box needed cheers.

i have just got my 6 speed,

i killed my box in mine at 340bhp

Not much, weakest of the lot I broke 2 in three weeks at 330bhp.

re gearbox

I`m running 321/325 for the last 2 years looking to go 400/400 ish and know the box wont last

you wont have to push too hard to rek yr box. scooby boxes are made of cheese so get ready...oh.....fittted 8 boxes throughout the time i owned my classic scoob (295bhp) shazam

i,d love to have the longer gearing of the uk box ,the jdms are far too low geared for uk motorways, know it would,nt last 5 minutes in mine though.
