Firstly i hope this is ok with the mods , and i apologies in advance if there is a problem,but spaces will be short and id like to offer you guys the oppurtunity to attend aswell as other midland sites this is posted on ie subaru central,staffordshirescoobies,midland-scoobies ,nottinghamshire scoobies

All proceeds will be going to help the heroes and im sure anyone who went last time will say its a great day out

The visit will include a tour of the base fire station and fire vehicles
A tour of airtraffic including the ops room and control tower
Lunch in the officers mess
A tour of the air ambulance(providing its not called out on a job)
photo opurtunaty with the vulcan that bombed the falklands
and hopefully we may get on board something as well
there is also a mini bus provided for us to ferry us round the base

hopefully a couple of raffle prices aswell


price will be £15
so get your names down folks its only 5 weeks away places are limited to 20 maxdue to the size of the mini bus
also to add its adults only im afraid due to health and saftey reasons

Unfortunately no, I am however rather familiar with Waddo's, it's a great base and one of the longest runways in the UK. I remember the days when NATO used to hold their training their and you'd get French Migs, Swiss F15's, etc, etc... and the big **** up at the end where the French would **** around...

we are aimung to arrive aroun 9.45 -10

leaving the mintleaf resteraunt at newak around 9 am

we will come through the village past the shops on the crossroads so look out for a 22b a 10 plate wrx my cusco classic and another stickered up classic and tag on the end ,yours is white isnt it

i will try and get my dad(its through him we got the visit he was civi atc up untill last year) to stop on the approach to the gates to make sure your there

this is the second visit we have made , last years proceeds went to cancer research as may dad was recovering from prostrate cancer and we thought it was a good way to give something back to nottingham city hospital as the icu saved his life after the op

this years as ive said is going to help the heroes and hopefully we will get to make it a yearly event

I'm in the RAF and am based at RAF Waddington. I will keep my eyes, and ears open for you all but i'm stuck in the hanger most of the time at the moment.
I am the very proud owner of a late 1997 Impreza WRX STI wagon import. She will be in the carpark.
