Default Turbo exhaust housing

Hi all I have found a turbo a friend is selling but the exhaust housing has a slight crack in it, he is going to get me a replacement housing but what I want to know is how big a job it is changing the exhaust housing, is it a DIY job or will I have to send it off to be done? Any advice would be great.

Cheers Shep
