Hi guys,

I have noticed that after a spirited drive on a hot day my fuel pump begins to whine quite loudly??!!
Normally you can hear a low buzzing which i believe is standard on the sytec/walbro pumps but this whinny sound is alarmingly loud. Seems not to happen when driven hard in cool weather such as during the night.

Any cause for concern? Is the pump on its way out??

I would personally have a look at all the connectors just to see if they are on properly. I've had walbro's in all my classics & never experienced and loud noise's. Dont sound normal to me. Get it checked.
