i won a set of mats on e-bay from (wercarmats ) see link below

now before i ordered them i checked with the guy if they would fit my 2002 bugeye , he said yep no probs so i ordered them , but they dont fit.

you can clearly see the difference in shape around the fuel / boot release on the drivers side

i think they are possibly hawkeye shape mats

can anyone that owns a subaru thats later than a bug or blob take a look at the shape and tell me if they look like they will fit there car?

I've had dealings with wercarmats, they seem OK.
Message them and tell them, they may have sent the wrong ones. It happens.

 

i did contact them , and the bloke said i have sold loads with no bother blah blah blah , so i even took a photo of them against my genuine rubber subaru mats that clearly showed the difference and he said , the mats you have in your car are universal

i then said how can universal ones fit perfect yet yours dont , very unhelpfull indeed

this is how it is now , i cant be bothered to send these mats back , so knowing that they do not fit a bugeye and defo not a classic,but poss blob or maybe hawkeye



so if any 1 wants these mats for their car FREE OF CHARGE then let me know , come and collect , happy days
