You need a dccd centre diff and, if you want it to be variable rather than just open, then you need a diff ecu- either oem or neetronics or the like to be wired up.

You also have a different rear diff ratio to the front so you will need to retain your existing transfer box or get a matching rear diff rsatio as well if you use the 1:1 transfer gears that are in dccd set ups of that age. If you just swap the whole box plus dccdplus transfer box then you will need to get a rear diff to match the front one.

For the cost etc, your better off selling up and going for an STI RA or an STI type R, both are better cars, both dont have ABS (you may have to bin your ABS, and the rear brakes are different on both the above cars).

Say £750 for kit plus a bit for fitting? Not necessarily worth selling up, and ABS still works in my dccd equipped uk car - not that this is necessarily a good thing given how crap the scooby ABS is anyway...

 

I have a complete setup from a version 5 sti ra limited inc dccd box/diffs/prop/sti quickshift, just not the dccd ecu or thumbwheel as they have been kept along with the new 6 speed setup....

Also have a helical front diff to suit if interested....
