as above its a 1993 wrx import would like to know how to take it of cause im removing the engine and was told it slides bk

 

Yes, leave g.box in the car. remove starter motor, g.box top support bar/mount, both top corner bell housing bolts and both lower nuts for bell housing, remove 2 slave cylinder securing bolts and lift out the way the slave cyinder, just below starter motor remove the 8/10mm allen key plug in side of box and pull out the shaft which goes through for the clutch folk arm, pull up the folk arm (will probably fall out when lift engine out) job done.
