whilst looking at my exhaust yesterday I have noticed whoever had it before me must have grounded it on something as the box just after the downpipe has a huge dent in it to the point that it's almost flat at the bottom, now would this cause any power loss ??

So I want to know your views on the two companies mid sections

Presumably you mean a dent in the Cat? What MY? If it is the Cat then removing it will give you a boost in performance. If you still have the downpipe Cat it should still pass an MOT.

A straight through centre is basically a pipe, so there's nothing to choose between TSL and Scoobysport I suspect. Go for the one that's cheaper / more convenient for you.

Cheers
Tim

It's a MY93 jap import WRX I cant see any cat on the downpipe it's had a full stainless put on it before I bought it but I don't know wot make, I was going to go for a full catless system but then it wont pass the emissions test if I do that, both the TSL & SS pipes are the same price from wot I can tell

If they are the same in £, then I watched these being made at Hayward & Scott for ScoobySport, they are well made & the dp from SS is seen as the best!

No need to worry about the M.O.T because it is a import there are no figures for emission to go by,I have a scoobysport exhaust on my 97 sti and it sounds as good as it goes.

Dude, I THINK that the Scoobysport and TSL centres are one in the same. I bought a centre from TSL and it was a scooby sport. Don't know if TSL have started making thier own or not since then.
