what turbo is a 93wrx running?

any chance of upgarding into those VF turbos?

 

TD05 me thinks Vf turbo will fit but you will have to change entry point to 90degree. MRT do a kit for this

 

Don't do it You can get 350 bhp from the standard TD05 with the correct mods and it will outlast most Vf's

Anyway yeah it`s the TD05 in the 93wrx and its one of the toughest turbos for the scoob unless (like CC says)u want more than 350bhp.
With a good map a TD05 will pull like a train almost all the way 2 redline

Does that also includes 92WRX since it is called an MY93 anyway? If so, cool, I'll take my boost up to 15 psi once I call Jamie on Monday.

Yip one & the same car.
BTW jus 4 info I ran mine reliably for a year at 26 psi.
Unlike the small VF series turbo`s the TD can generate more boost than the std engine can handle. That`s why the TD is a good base for serious tuning. The Evo 7 uses a newer version of the TD05
