Default V5 DCCD gearbox question

I am purchasing a V5 DCCD box of a type-r.
I will be fitting it with an uprated gearset.
The guy has removed all the mechanical bits.
He recon's the controller is tied into the loom and doesn't want to rip it apart unless necessary.

I will be fitting a neetronics controller to control the DCCD how much of the original wiring from the factory controller do i need?

Any help greatly appreciated

There's only two wires that control the DCCD. Providing you've got enough length on the two wires that go into the box you'll not have much of an issue.

Another question more than 1 pair of wires going to the box. What are they for?

Reverse switch.

The DCCD wires go to the plate on the top at the rear of the box.
