I doubt it was anyone from here, but I saw a blue impreza, aftermarket alloys, pulled over by 2 police BMW cars in a layby. But I've never seen west yorkshire police cars look like this before... The coppers were beefy as ****. Seemed like they were from either a special unit or another force and very determined to stop and arrest them. Both occupants were in handcuffs. Drove half a mile down the road, and there was another police BMW on standby, presumably incase he tried to get away.

I reckon he was a drug dealer. Made me feel embarassed to drive past tho in my Impreza, hate being associated with these types of people!

Anybody else see this incident?

 

i didnt see that, but i got pulled at 8pm on that same road by a vectra.. routine check..

all well though, i went on my way in a few mins, had all documents on me

Yep they were out in force today, saw loads and loads of police cars. Well that's it, if everything's in order, then you've nothing to worry, but these guys were clearly up to something!

 

They were still patrolling that part of the ring road at 21:00 tonight on my way home from work, bikes and BMW 5 Series estate cars. I spotted three cars and two bikes between Wicks roundabout and Green Flag. I wonder whats been going on ?

the only thing that i dispute about being tugged by the boys in blue is that all information regarding a vehicle they have already,i.e[mot,insurance,tax,registered keeper] they should only be pulling you up if any of these things are missing or if the car has been reported stolen or if you are driving like a tit,if they stop you just because they are playing snooker with cars,or just that they have nothing better to do they are just taken the ****.
