will this fir as a direct bolt on to a MY00?

 

yes, no problem. As long as its a 5 speed box it'll bolt straight on.

 

Does it need the DCCD dash at all?

 

It would help if you had the dash but I guess its not a complete requirement. The diff would still make the box into a dccd, you just wouldnt have the visual aid for what setting it was on.
