yes mate it was me jamie you spoke to i was really rining on behalf of phill739 as i have just bought a dash of a member on here that you have flocked and i was supposed to pick it up for him but i have had it and because i felf a bit guilty i rang you for a quote to do his for him as i think he will as it looks awsome mate top job you do i would highly recommend your work to others ok cheers mate

What material is it? Has it got colour lasting on it so to speak?

it's millions of pieces of small flock that are electrostatically charged onto a special epoxy resin.

best way to describe it is it looks like powder.

not had any problems with the colour not lasting.

Bump, the quality of Phil's workmanship is just outstanding.
Get yourself some proper bona fide WRC style non glaring dash action and wonder how you ever managed before.
I bought one and dammit its a work of art

Looking good mate, seems a bargain at they prices very, very tempted !!

just wonder if anyone can tell me why wrc cars come with there dashboards flocked ?? what benefits does it give apart from looking 100 times better than original ??!!

 

I also have a dash flock by Phil in mine.

Finish is superb and he is now flocking a pod to house the two gauges on the steering column, will post pics of that when received and installed.

it stops all the glare from the sun

 

okay cheers for that, living in scotland thats not a problem anyway !!!

 

i think thats the same for most of the uk

it's probably of use around 1 day a year

 

They also stop the street light glare bouncing back up too so are a great idea
