got a clunk from rear diff and its starting to get annoying, that and sometimes car feels like what i can only guess torque steer would feel like but from rear nearside.
what shape of washers are needed to pack the rear diff? i know i should take it out look myself then source but would obviously prefer to do it in oner.
complete clutch overhaul kit with all discs is £200. would this be better option as from what i can gather you need to set a wet preload of 100 ft/lbs which will involve several refit/check/oil changes with various thicknesses of washer.

In my case 0.2mm thicker clutch plates were enough to get 100 ft/lbs-135 Nm. I tried first with 0.6mm but it was like driving with a welded diff. The overhaul kit is a bit expensive but I had to buy it since one of my plates was broken.

seen a couple, am sure there will be a few other sources:
japanparts.com
rhdjapan.com
thinking of getting a kit myself rather than bugger about refitting with various washers.
