As I plan to change my OEM backbox definitely too quiet to a new one that, I hope, will deliver deeper sound; I hesitate between the ScoobySport one and the Magnex. Perhaps Mongoose is also to consider, but it's more pricey.

All are in stainless steel but the manufacturing is also important without to forget that this backbox must not so loud as it appeals all the cops !!!

This backbox will be used with the 2 original cats ( too much problems here in my country without cats ).

Thanks to all for your advices !

You might want to add the Prodrive WR Sport to your list. Although I not sure how much it differs from the STi box in sound levels.

It has a nice deep sound but will not attract cops.

make sure that the backbox you choose will mate up to the original centre pipe. i have the mongoose 3" system on my car, and the backbox will not fit onto a standard centre, as it is a 3" sleeve fitting, and not a two bolt flange fitting.

cheers
